Mission

The School of Medicine's mission is:

• Train highly capable health care professionals with a solid ethical background, spirit of service, and commitment to their community's welfare in order to improve the quality of life of the population.
• Train researchers and professors to further scientific and technological development and increase our research ability and capacity to solve biomedical, clinical, and public health problems.
• Contribute to improving the population's scientific knowledge through extension activities and dissemination of our academic work across the country.
