Founded in 1939, the School of Nutrition and Dietetics has the mission to train undergraduate and postgraduate professionals with the highest ethical and humanist standards and also with an innovative, critical and community - oriented approach.
Graduating professionals are prepared to respond to contingent demands in nutrition and health issues. They will go on to generate, update, integrate, and disseminate food and nutrition sciences within the epidemiological, social, economical and cultural context of their country and its regions.
